Dear Grade Three Parents,

Today was spirit day where students could wear any cultural attire.  Look how diverse our classroom is!

Lots of favourite outfits too!

We also had the opportunity to look at the world map in our school and discuss where we come from in the world.

Today we practiced writing our own fact families using an array. I can show you how we do it!

We also learned how to use repeated subtraction to solve division equations. We're going to continue practicing this skill tomorrow.

Today was our first day trying Pickleball! Ask me what I thought of it.

Yesterday, we learned about some different possible story endings. Today, we practiced extending an ending for Snack Attack, did another ending as a whole group and then tried to make a better ending with a partner.

Ask me what my partner and I put for our better ending.

We started to add pins in the world map by the office of where students are from.  We will continue to add pins throughout the week.
