Dear Grade Three Parents,

For gym today, it was an All Sports Challenge where you either played basketball, floor hockey, soccer or handball depending on the equipment that Mr. Newton threw out.  Ask me which sports I played during that time.

We continue to practice how to extend endings so they're longer than one sentence.  Endings might include a memory, a feeling, a decision, a wish or hope, or a defining action.  Students tried to make a new and improved ending to the one shown.  I will tell you my ideas.

This week's handwriting letters are: N, M, H and K.

Today we watched a video of a traditional dance in Ukraine called Hopak.

We also discussed and condensed our notes from the research that we did throughout the week last week. Ask me what interesting facts I now know about Ukraine.

One of our favourites to learn about was the Pysanka egg. Ask me how they are made!
