Dear Grade Three Parents,

Mr. Newton was away but we still played four corners as a warm-up, a whole gym gaga ball game where if you got hit by the ball, you had to do 10 of an exercise (jumping jacks, star jumps or burpees).  Our cool down was wax museum.

For writing, we are learning about how to take speech or thought bubbles and turn it into dialogue, using quotation marks.  I will tell you which comic I chose to write about and what the characters said.

Now that we are done the lower case letters for cursive writing, we are starting with the upper case letters.  Did you know that 11 people in our class have names that start with A?

Since we are done researching about Peru, we are going to start learning about Ukraine.  We did the beginning of a KWL where students said what the Know and what they WANT to learn about the country.  I will tell you what I said.
