Dear Grade Three Parents,

It was an honour to have Elder Frank speak to the grade 3 classes to share his knowledge of the Blackfoot people.

 

 

 

Some students were chosen to hit the drum, feel the moose hide and touch their heart to show their appreciation and respect.

Ask me what I liked, learned or wondered about this morning's presentation.

                                        

In gym, we played gumball machine.  Ask me how it went.

Reminders:

• The grade 3 team has decided that we prefer daily agenda blog so will be going back to daily messages.
• Large ziploc bags were given to students to keep library books safe in their backpacks.  Many are being returned to the learning commons damaged.  This bag should 'live' in your child's backpack along with their green communication folder regardless of whether there are things in it.
• With the weather warming up, our school field is getting rather wet and muddy.  Please make sure your child has a change of clothes in case they slip, get wet or dirty.

Our upcoming Parent / Student / Teacher Conferences will be on Thursday, March 21 between 4:30 - 8:00 and on Friday, March 22 between 9:00 - 2:00. On Monday, March 11, you will receive an email with information to book your 15-minute Parent / Teacher Conference for either the Thursday evening or Friday daytime.
