Dear Grade Three Parents,

Ask me if I was at the word problem station today for math and which question I tried to answer.

During Maker Space, some pairs were ready to test their colour codes with their Ozobots.  Others were still reading the instructions to know which direction or action their Evo should do.

This week, our new handwriting letters are: n & m (hilly letters).

For those that were absent on Friday, they had the opportunity to start their toy building while the rest explained how their toy worked, which simple machine their design used and something they learned while building.

Reminders:

• Healthy Hunger Lunch: Edo is Thursday, March 21.  Deadline to order was Saturday, March 16.
• Large ziploc bags were given to students to keep library books safe in their backpacks.  Many are being returned to the learning commons damaged.  This bag should 'live' in your child's backpack along with their green communication folder regardless of whether there are things in it.
• With the weather warming up, our school field is getting rather wet and muddy.  Please make sure your child has a change of clothes in case they slip, get wet or dirty.
• Students are reminded to have labeled headphones in their backpack so they have access to them when using iPads or laptops.
