Good afternoon families!

Skipping has been a hit activity in our gym class, promoting coordination, cardiovascular health, and teamwork. Today marked the end of this chapter, but the memories and skills gained will stay with us forever. Let me tell you my favourite skipping trick to try.

Today, our classroom was a vibrant sea of patterns as we celebrated Patterned Shirt Day! From stripes to plaid, our students showcased their creativity and understanding of patterns. What other patterns can you find in everyday clothing?

We're gearing up for Math Game Night with families! What math game am I most looking forward to sharing with you tonight?

Today we did something called a "shake out." As a class, we looked at a picture from Peru and shook out all the vocabulary words we could think of and labelled the picture on the smart board. After doing the shake out, we took the vocabulary words and sorted them into our own categories. Ask me how our table group decided to sort our words.
