Dear Grade Three Parents,

We have started to review addition when regrouping is needed (when there are more than 10 ones or 10 tens).

While a class was in music, the other class got to work with the Ozobots in partners.  We practiced how to turn them on, calibrate them (ask me what that means) and how the Ozobot can follow lines that we drew.

Since our field trip to Bow Habitat Station was yesterday, we did a 3-2-1 response.  Ask me what I learned, found interesting and want to learn more about.

Reminders:

• Report cards are available to view online as of yesterday.
• The grade three team is presenting at tonight's parent council meeting at 6 p.m.  Anyone is welcome to attend.
• There are many items being sent to the lost and found by the gym.  It is recommended that you label your child's belongings so they can easily be returned when lost.
• Please make sure the green communication folder stays in your child's backpack so that notices can be sent back and forth safely.
• A notice about Papa Johns pizza night has been sent home.  Pizza night is Feb. 5 and you can get a discount if you use the code provided.
