Dear Grade Three Parents,

There were LOTS of parts to our field trip.  

1. We were part of a water cycle story where we wore costumes to be water droplets, water vapour, ice crystals, warm breeze, cool breeze, cow, ant, fish, sun or trees.  

2. We had time to explore the exhibits.  

3. There were 3 stations in the discovery den where we got to play a game, looked closely at plants and animals, added 'pollution' and 'rain' to a water shed.  

4. We went outside along the pathway to see an aquifer and the Bow River, looked for evidence of a beaver.  

5. Probably the favourite part of the trip for many was learning about the life cycle of fish (egg, alevin, fry, adult) and getting to feed the 7 month old rainbow trout.

Reminders:

• Report cards are available to view online as of today.
• There are many items being sent to the lost and found by the gym.  It is recommended that you label your child's belongings so they can easily be returned when lost.
• Please make sure the green communication folder stays in your child's backpack so that notices can be sent back and forth safely.
