Dear Grade Three Parents,

It's pajama day! Look at all of the PJs!

For math, we were practicing regrouping by circling place value sticks if there were 10 and moving them over to the next place value and drawing the next value.

 

We continued our snow plow maker space challenge designing a plow to push 3 'snowballs' into a pile.  Ask me if our group was able to design and program the robot mouse.

Today was the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year. Ask me what I noticed was a sign of winter/solstice.

Reminders:

December 22 – Dress in Your Grade Team Colours (Red for Kindergarten, Orange for Grade One, Yellow for Grade Two, Green for Grade Three, Blue for Grade Four and Purple for Grade Five)

Winter Break begins from Dec. 23 until Jan. 7. Students' first day back is Monday, January 8, 2024.
