Good afternoon parents!

Students seemed to have fun being dressed for the weather and playing in the snow today at lunch and recess. Please make sure they have snowpants if they plan to sit and play in the snow so they don't sit in snow-covered pants that melt and make them wet and cold.

For literacy, we are learning how to remember how to spell certain words if you don't use the letters it sounds like.  We call those parts the heart part because they have to remember by heart those letters.  There will be 300 words that we introduce and practice throughout the year. These are the words for this week.

Ask me about circumference and how my table group measured with non-standard and standard units.

For science, we learned how to sketch our table group pumpkin.
